Kalamazoo Grolwers "Big Bear"

We were commissioned to carve this massive bear for the local minor league baseball team. This project presented many challenges being carved from 10 pieces of white oak and weighing in at over 5000 lbs.

Sister Lakes Monster

We were commissioned to carve a 10 ft Oak stump located in Sister Lakes, MI. The clients requested a design for a Bigfoot type of monster to depict the local legend. It has quickly become a local landmark.

Peace

This was a fun and unique project to work on. Hands are always challenging to get right. Spending extra time on the design and layout of this carving was critical in getting the proportions correct.

Camp Greenwood Totem Pole

This was our first large project. When this business was still a hobby, the summer camp in my home town commissioned me to recreate their totem pole that had seen better days.

Papins Resort Sign Bears

We were commissioned to carve some new bears for Papins Resort in Michigans upper peninsula.

Porter Mascot

We were commissioned to carve our local minor league baseball teams mascot "Porter". He now greets all the visitors to the Kalamazoo Growlers games.

Gobles Tiger Mascot

This was created during a live carving demonstration at Gobles Elementary School. The kids were able to watch their mascot be created over a two day period.

The Watershed Club Sign

We were commissioned to design and carve this custom sign into a massive slab of oak.
